Amal Najjar is a Lebanese artist, born in 1961 from Deir El Qamar.
She holds a Master’s degree in Plastic Arts from the Lebanese University of Fine Arts and a BA in Theology from the Sagesse University.
Amal is Multi-styled, she experiences many movements like impressionism, expressionism, paysagism, portraiture and abstract art.
Amal’s paintings are characterized by a warm color wheel that touches the vibrations in the soul, eliciting strong feelings,
Through her paintings, she represents the beauty of the Lebanese cultural heritage, as well as the struggles of the Lebanese people, their pain, their strength and their resilience. Coordinating the medium with her subjects, the artist experiments with oils, acrylics and mixed media. Not limited to painting, Amal is also passionate about sculpture, mosaic art and calligraphy.
She Has participated in numerous collective exhibitions, and “Journée des Peintres” at Deir el Qamar, in 2009 and 2010.)*

Amal is currently spending all her time to generate ideas and images to embody the situations that pass around us, which are the moments and the situations od peoples who suffers at the mercy of those responsibles irresponsible.
An art teacher for young children, believing that art is a medium, an experiment, that helps kids process the world around them, express themselves and overcome their fears.
She lives in Sin el fil and has her own home workshop in Sin el fil and Mansourieh.
