Olga Naji is a Syrian artist born in Damascus, on the 2nd December 1973, to a mixed family of a Muslim Palestinian/Syrian father and a Christian Ukrainian mother. She studied fine art for four years in the Faculty of Fine Art in Damascus until 1996, during which, she was supervised by few of the most renowned artists such as Nazir Naba’a, Nizar Sabour, and Elias Zayat.
Working for more than 25 years at advertising agency companies in Damascus, Olga was inspired in the last couple of years to come back to painting with a style that would reflect her personality, as someone brought up from a mixed rise family with a different culture and religions, also experiencing and living the war in Syria.
The Syrian artist states that her art reflects what she feels towards humanity and nature, with simplified line and characters hoping that her messages would reach people soul and heart in a very subtle way.
