This expressionist figurative painting, done by the contemporary Syrian painter Saad Yagan, describes a conflict taking place in a family of six member, in which there is one dominating female in control waving her hands and portrayed in white, with one scared, sad female supporter hiding behind her, seperated by steel bars from four men with sad facial expressions. In this dark painting, the Syrian Artist symolises miscommunication between family members or a group of people, with the bars seperating them from each other, preventing any fruitful exchange of views that could benefit both sides of the conflict.
