Saad Yagan’s “Innocent Love” is a 80 cm* 60 cm Acrylic and Oil on canvas expressionist figurative painting that’s consisted of a gray background a man wearing a black suit and a naked yellow and orange stripped woman both in opposite positions.

The man and woman represented in this expressionist figurative painting, done by the contemporary Syrian painter Saad Yagan, seem to be in opposite direction, and we can tell from their disfigured faces that they are transferring their feelings into each other’s souls. On one side, the man is wearing a black suit, meaning that he is a gentleman, while on the other side, the color of the woman’s body could mean that she is either naked or wearing a skin-like color, which in both cases represents clarity, honesty, and passion. The figurative painting point out to the fact that, when in love, a couple would have their souls communicate with each other, without need of words, only if those feelings are truly genuine and honest.
